Sharon Chamberlain
President and Public Officer
Sharon is the guiding force behind MCOI, putting out fires, helping clients and juggling volunteers daily.
A trained financial counsellor, she has also worked in retail management for Woolworths, in small business and as a community leader and has currently completed Community Resilience and Leadership with Charles Sturt University. She also has training in Emergency Management, Trauma Counselling, and has volunteered as a counsellor with Lifeline.

Sharon is part of the executive team at Wingham Chamber of Commerce and a member of the SES Community Flood Warden Programme.
Sharon partners with her daughter running their local primary business called Fairy Wren Grove and is currently employed in her sole trader business in grant writing success.

Since being a founding member of the Mid Coast Outreach Inc. organisation as a response to the 2019/2020 bushfires, Shazz has worked tirelessly for the community as a part of the Mid Coast Council's Bushfire Recovery Group and expanding the services offered by Mid Coast Outreach Incorporated.
